DATES RELEASED FOR FEBRUARY ARTFUL DAY AT THE BEACH

Come join us for pre-spring beach adventures and leave your marks in the sand!

An Artful Day is an outdoor movement mediation that will leave you feeling energized, inspired, and connected.

Instead of spreading out the beach towels, create a massive masterpiece in the sand and watch it wash away. Guided by Andres Amador Arts’ facilitator Kelsi Anderson and (native naturalist) Pamela Adams.

An Artful Day will focus on activities to connect you with the beach and it’s natural wonders, to your body as a creative instrument, and to the power of collaborative art making. Enjoy being a human-paint brush and marvel at the beautiful paintings you will make! Plus there is no mess, or clean-up and you’ll have amazing pictures and memories as souvenirs.

Options for customized team bonding for private groups can be arranged.

The tides are perfect the following days and times. Location(s): Sutro Bath’s Beach, San Francisco (north of Ocean Beach), Muir Beach, Marin County. (Directions will be given upon booking reservation.)

Lands End Labyrinth Rebuild Sept. 13 Sunday

Lands End June 3 2015 1

“Home is where I want to be…” that Talking Heads song sums up how I feel about the Lands End Labyrinth. Now it’s gone again. This is the 2nd time this summer it was vandalized. Last was in May. I was the first to have to call the “labyrinth’s caretaker” Ms. Yerge to tell her it was destroyed when I took a group for a walking meditation there the morning of Aug. 12. It was like going to your “home” and finding it wiped off the face of the earth. Such a sad surprise. Since that day, there’s been cleansing with a shaman and apparently the land does want the labyrinth back! A gathering of over a hundred people or more to rebuild is set for Sun. Sept. 13. See below for more information. If anyone has a contribution to help the rebuilding volunteers let me know. Also, if you have a personal story you’d like to share about this magical spiritual home please do! you can email me at: pamela@localsouladventures.com
